Canadian Executive Search in partnership with a manufacturing company is currently hiring for Customer Service Representative located in Guelph, ON for a direct-hire, 1-year contract opportunity.

Starting at $35,000.00/year based on a 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, the chosen candidate will be responsible for taking and processing customer orders and addressing all customer inquiries and concerns. The Customer Service Representative will serve as a liaison between the customer and in-house Production and Purchasing departments. In addition to this, the candidate will work with other divisions and their Sales Teams for any orders that are to be produced.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·           Take customer orders either directly from customers or sales representatives

·           Place orders on a timely basis so that Buyers can purchase materials and supplies to be used in production

·           Handle customer complaints and/or questions and follow-up with appropriate internal personnel as required

·           Fax or email confirmations to customers to maintain accuracy of customer order

·           Troubleshoot customer order changes ensuring all changes are posted and processed

·           Maintain customer files ensuring contact and order information is kept up to date

·           Process new order items

·           Process purchase orders for tooling (print plates and steel rule dies)

·           Record and distribute customer order changes

·           Resolve any NCR’s as they occur throughout order cycle in compliance with ISO standards

·           Serve as initial point of contact when new customers call to request information

QUALIFICATIONS

·           Computer data-entry experience

·           Experience working in a manufacturing environment

·           Ability to read and understand CAD documents

·           Ability to solve a variety of problems and deal with situations where only limited information or standardization exists

·           Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts costs, proportions and volumes

·           Excellent English communication and organization skills
